I was approached by a former colleague to produce the design for an independent shoe store located in Florida. The owner is originally from Brazil and wanted to incorporate colors from the Brazilian flag within the design.

She wanted a very specific custom fixture for the window display. My goal was to create a warm, colorful, eclectic environment for this beach adjacent shoe store.

Custom, flexible wall shelving was proposed and the Brazilian flag colors used throughout. Modern furniture with white upholstery was chosen by the client out of options presented. Shoe display pedestals with graphics holders were chosen to allow for added color graphics throughout.

The design includes; living wall for separation of sales floor and back of house, focal wall with shoe display inspired by Brazilian architecture, reclaimed wood flooring to add warmth, patterned neutral rug, custom geometric print wallpaper inspired by Brazilian flag, custom lighting fixtures in display window, bare bulb hanging lights over long shelving wall.
